PLANNING FOR OUR 50TH

Please send your ideas for how you would like to experience our 50th Reunion. You may email them, snail mail them, or put them on The Forum. Within the Steering Committee there are a variety of ideas ranging from a one day clambake to three days filled with plenty of activities. Some feel that one day and night shortchanges a very important milestone while others think that many different activities will dilute the experience and cause classmates to miss each other by being at different events. Ideas tossed about have included golfing, boat cruise, visit to CTHS, classmates only Friday Eve bash, Sat Eve dinner dance, and Sunday brunch. Some believe that out-of-towners will not come for a single day/night event. Some feel that at 65+ too many activities will be exhausting. Some still believe one needs a spouse or date to attend a formal event. Many who have left do enjoy coming home for reunions. How many people have the opportunity to celebrate their 50th high school reunion in the style to which we have become accustomed? Very few. So take a few minutes now while you are thinking of it and jot down your druthers.

Email your suggestions to mail://kniles1@adelphia.net or post them on The Forum.

We are still not getting much play from classmates at the Forum.

If each of us would pen something weekly, it would make it a very active and interesting site where notes could be passed much the same way they were in study halls years ago....well, not exactly but sorta. Help us keep the connections alive.
